Scent of the Innocent - Self Portrait

Scent of the Innocent

He smells of children

Pure and sweet
Stolen innocence lay at his feet
He  dons a non-threatening social mask
To lure the timid and weak

He sneaks out of their bedrooms at night
Leaving them to dream nightmares of him,
In their blooded sheets
While he fills his head with forbidden thoughts,
Of  toddlers and tots, of lust and incest

He wears an ornate necklace of
Tainted hearts and souls
Like a demonic medal

Pedophile, pedophile when will you learn,
You can't run-around stealing young innocence
Pedophile, pedophile when will you realize,
Your committing a felony offense
