Feeling a little neurotic today
But my therapist said,
“Everything will be O.K...”
They still haunt my dreams
But my therapist said,
“Those flashbacks will go away.”
Having another anxiety attack
But my therapist said,
“Just talk yourself down, in time those will fade away.”
Did a nice hack job on myself with a razor blade
But my therapist said,
“You just have to find a constructive outlet for your anger,
And the scars will eventually fade.”
They had to pump my stomach again; another drug overdose
But my therapist said,
Everything will be O.K..., you just have to stop running from the pain.”
Well, I definitely stopped running,
Wonder what my therapist will say
As she stands over my grave
